A couple of weeks ago, game developer DICE hosted a double XP event for PS3 and Xbox360 Battlefield 3 players.
“Be advised, Battlefield 3 players – This weekend we’ll be doubling every experience point that you earn on the Battlefield ranked servers. Every kill, assist, revive – you name it, it’s doubled.
At the conclusion of each match the bonus XP will be reflected as “Additional Points”. Double XP will be accrued across all ranked servers and matches.
See you on the Battlefield.”
Sadly, though, PC gamers were left out for some or other unspecified reason.
But, the good news is that a PC-only Double XP event will be taking place this weekend and yours truly will be locked in his study for most of the weekend shooting people in the face…
And more good news from DICE – Close Quarters, one of three new DLCs for Battlefield 3, will drop in a few weeks’ time.
It’s due 12 June for PC and Xbox360 (or 5 June if you play on PS3) and looks every bit as awesome as… well… everything that’s awesome.
