Frack me! I think I nearly fracking had a small nerdgasm when I found out that this Friday we’ll be able to watch the new Battlestar Galactica – Blood & Chrome.
Some history about this specific series: A new series has been in the works for a couple of years now, to the point that an official trailer and 2-hour pilot episode of the series have been filmed and are ready to be picked up by whichever network wants it.
Problem is, none of the networks were interested but this didn’t deter the producers of the new series, who decided to let the public decide if it’s worthy to be picked up for further production.
They cut the 2-hour pilot up into 7 – 12 minutes chunks and made a web series out of it, and this Friday (9 November 2012), you’ll be able to watch the first and second webisodes…for free…on Machinima Prime’s YouTube channel:
The story follows young William Adama, during the first Cylon War, as he makes his debut as a fighter pilot on board the Battlestar Galactica.
That’s all we have for now. But Friday isn’t too far away.
So say we all!
