It’s been an especially busy week, but thank the almighty Krom that the Internet is open 24 hours a day.
Oz the Great and Powerful
I think we’ll start today’s festivities with the first official full-length trailer for the new movie coming from Disney and director Sam Raimi.
It tells the story of pre-Dorothy Oz, how the Wizard of Oz came to be and also the events that led up to that completely overused “Kansas” line.
This looks extremely good. I hope the movie lives up to the trailer:
We’ll see Oz the Great and Powerful in March next year.
While we’re on the subject of movies, have a look at the latest trailer for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. Lots of what we hoped we’ll see in the movie – slashin’ and mashin’:
I know Space Cowboy’s been giving you an excellent run-down of what’s new and exciting to bankrupt you over the festive season, but something I’ve been waiting for finally got a proper gameplay trailer: Crysis 3.
I’m a fan of the franchise, I’ve played all the previous instalments and I just hope to Galactus that my gaming rig at home can handle this one, which looks bloody marvellous by the way (the game, not my rig):
We have a new trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto and, well, it looks like I may be cheating on Battlefield 3 for a few months next year, what with Crysis out in the early part of 2013, and this coming out later in the year:
Wash is our resident uber-geek. He sleeps on a pile of comics, speaks fluent Klingon and spends his weekends unleashing all manner of Hell on the battlefields of his PC. If it’s related to gaming, comics, sci-fi or any other form of geekitude… chances are Wash has his sticky paws all over it.
