Remember the children.

By Deanna Campbell

Children love with their whole hearts. If we could all love that way, things would be different.

No regret, no hate. Just days filled with imaginings of dragons and Disneyland, Christmas and Santa Claus.

Big dreams of space explorers and doctors, football players and actors while we hope for full lives of happiness and love.

There is nothing quite like having a child hold you tight and say I love you.

I’ve had the words tumbling around in my head for the last few days but somehow, nothing seems quite right.

May God bless the memory of the victims of the Sandy Hook tragedy, their families, friends and the people of Newtown.

Deanna spends her days buried in a jumble of words and her nights trying to balance family life and everything in between, all while doodling the name Grohl on her notepad and watching reruns of Supernatural. If it’s on TV, she’s seen it. If it’s the latest fad diet… she’s tried it. She’s got a lot to say. Be warned.
